After extensive preparation, we’ve done it – and we’re pleased to announce that a 14 kW CIVAN laser has been successfully integrated and tested at DESY PETRA III at Beamline P07! This milestone paves the way for further in-depth analyses in the field of laser material processing! What beam shape will lead to which internal process dynamics? Let’s find out together!

Prof. Andreas Otto welcomes the consortium at the kick-off meeting at the Technische Universität in Wien. From February 5-6, 2024, the representatives will discuss the joint work over the next two years.

The kick-off meeting will take place in Vienna at the beginning of February. Representatives of the six institutes will gather to discuss the next experiments at the new beamline at the German Electron Synchrotron in Hamburg.
